From this year, the Central government announces that Tamilnadu medical admission is also under the control of NEET Examination. Medical Course admission will be based on the ranking provided based on the NEET examination. But Tamilnadu students weren’t prepared and ready for the exam as there is less CBSE curriculum school. The majority of the schools in Tamilnadu follows the Tamil Nadu State Board curriculum. So the Tamilnadu government decided to put ordinance for NEET exam for two years. This order has been sent to the central government. The Ministers of Tamilnadu had approached the central government by telling that to put an immediate law in order to exempt NEET for two years.
Students as well the Tamilnadu government are in a confused state about the status of the NEET examination. In India, 11 lakh 38 thousand 890 were applied for NEET entrance examination.
